We arrived safe and sound and tied up on the Quarantine
Dock at 18.30 Local time. It is Spring time over here, the air is crisp and the
days are getting longer. For the first time in a year we have still daylight
after 8 pm.
About 10 miles off shore, the Customs launch came up
alongside us and welcomed us to NZ, checking in with us and inquiring if we had
sustained any damage after the storm.
Lucky we came in after office hours, so we can have a
good night sleep moored up on the dock and eat up more of our fresh food, before
going through the procedure tomorrow morning. The bay is very beautiful and
peaceful.
