After a short day sail we dropped anchor here surrounded by an abundance of
wildlife activity.
![]() ![]() ![]() Half-moon Bay is also a world class surfing destination with the infamous
Maverick wave! Watching from the beach, it looked not at all inviting to us, in
fact positively dangerous, as the huge waves were crashing onto to rocks,
producing vicious looking rip-currents and turbulence.
![]() The town itself is very quaint and had a pleasant autumnal atmosphere.
![]() A weekend activity of vintage cars at the harbour.
![]() The crab season started on the same week end and some very kind sport
fishermen gave us two beautiful crabs for our dinner. Life is perfect!
