We
decided to stay here to watch the Festivities set up for the cruise ships, which
anchor outside the bay and bring their passengers with shuttle boats to the
beach.
Inspired
by Ulli’s (s/v Anni-Nad, Germany) photographic skills, we are trying to play
with our own camera and pictures!

passenger).
As
soon as we found out, that it was Nancy’s birthday we sang the internationally
enjoyed Happy Birthday!
Catherine, as always, impressed by the weaving skills. One hat is made of half
of a palm leaf

Another day, Melanie talked Catherine through the making of the Coconut leaf hat
and insisted to make a hat also for Paul.
When the hats dry out they turn brown and then white, it is then possible to
paint the hats. Meanwhile colour is given by fresh flowers!

the day, the Kyrimba crew came along to say good bye to Melanie and she gave a
display hat to each of them...

Our time here in Kuto Bay and Ile des Pins is coming to an end and so is our
time with
Simon and Carolina from s/v Kyrimba and their lovely daughters Sarah(10),
Emma(8) and Clara(6).
We
look forward to staying in touch and hopefully meet again one day, somewhere on
this beautiful globe!
