Halfway to New Caledonia

At Midday today we changed our sails to goose-wing and
are flying downwind. The wind had shifted from ESE to NE.
Approaching New Caledonia so quickly, we decided to
stopover in Noumea to soak up a little French lifestyle. We don't want
to arrive in Australia before our intended arrival time, which is at the end of
October.
Tonight the wind has dropped to around 15 knots and we
are gliding gently through the waves. All very pleasant.
