Today is Paul’s birthday! For his 0100 hrs watch I woke him with “The Moldau” on full blast. Kahia gliding gently and quietly through light airs, steered by the wind vane and creating the most amazing trail of milky way like  phosphorescence in her wake.

Paul’s best present, he said, is to have this experience and have his attraction to ocean sailing made into reality! All the hard work and stress to get here has shown worthwhile and we are looking at improving little details down below to make day to day life on board even easier. (Like fastening the toilet seat for when we are heeling over on starboard tack and having a gimballed drinks holder).
