All sails down on arrival at Porto Santo

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a beautiful little jewel, where Christopher Columbus lived, after his explorations. The main little town is clean and pretty, overlooking a large white beach.

We stayed here to let the bad weather go through. The rain you can sea gets through quickly.

On our way back to the Marina, we had another shower. The first rain since we left England, but so warm, still in t-shirts and sandals.

We saw a lovely rainbow and  were dry by the time we were back on board.

Now we are getting Kahia ready for another 318 NM (2 ½ days sail) South to Tenerife in the hope to get there on time to meet Mark and Jane before their holidays are over.
