Another midnight arrival! L'Aberwrac'h was still busy
with a film crew shooting on "Belle Espoire II Brest" a large old Square Rigger
tied up along the seawall, high and dry with the low tide. We decided to tie up
on the visitors quay and went to bed thinking of a nice lie in, only to be woken
up at 6 am, as the big ship also tied up on the quay in high water, just
squeezing in front of us. Such close maneuver and lots of voices shouting, we
had to jump out of bed to check out the commotion. How tiny and
vulnerable Kahia looked next to the majestic "Belle Espoire II Brest". Now we
had to wait for low tide, so that we can get Kahia out of the way, for them to
leave. We were glad to go back to bed and sort this out in day
light.
