After a leisurely breakfast in the sunny
cockpit, we weighed anchor at L’Aber Wrac’h and ventured to the most
western point of Brittany to L'ile d'Ouessant. We picked up a buoy in the Bay
of Lampaul and visited the delightful village with its beautiful church. The
Bourg with shops, bars and restaurants came as a surprise being in such a
remote place. After Stocking up at the Boulangerie, buying local sausages and enjoying
the views over pretty houses and gardens to the sea, we returned on board feeling
well inspired, so glad we had the settle weather to come here. |
