Frantic marina jobs before our ocean voyage!
We are leaving a few days or a week earlier than anticipated because of a
favourable weather window, but it is a bit of a rush to get everything
organised, checked over and ready for a long distance passage.
Our first use of a washing machine since New Zealand, sorting out lockers,
food and night watch weather gear.
Tying up loose ends with e-mails and the blog. Ordering air time for our
iridium satellite for weather and communication at sea. Dealing with
house-issues from afar.
And to add to the works, our water-maker has stopped working and Paul is
taking the whole lot apart for the second time.
We are planning to sail to Brisbane (1600 nm) but might have to stop over
in New Caledonia, all depending how things pan out en route.
