Off to seek out some local wildlife

After lunch we went ashore and visited the interpretation centre, which explains the history of the islands and gives details of the wildlife both ashore and in the water. We followed the trail to the beach to see the very ugly marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, and yet more sea-lions!
The very tame sealions are used to people coming to this beach and disturbing their sleep
The famous Galapagos blue footed boobies! I was really surprised by their feet. I didn't expect such a bright blue colour, it looks very odd. I thought they might have been a bit blue in a certain light, not like this.
