On Monday we went out for a day sailing with Mark and his grandson, Melroy.  Mark and his partner, Lyndetta, who own Double Deuce here on Nevis, have both been very good to us while we have been on the island.  We have been up to their house in the mountains a couple of times, so it was time to reciprocate with some hospitality on board 'Seaduced'.
We set off for St Kitts, late morning and with Mark at the helm, sometimes assisted by Melroy, we arrived in White House Bay, in time for a quick swim to check the anchor before lunch.  There was quite a strong current flowing through the bay so swimming there was difficult - poor Melroy, who was desperate to get in the water, had to swim holding on to the end of a rope so he didn't drift off!
John and Melroy fired up the BBQ to sear the fresh tuna for a salad for lunch, and after a long lunch break we went into the next bay for a swim.  There was much less current here, so swimming was much easier for everyone.  We had a great sail back, the wind was perfect, and we blasted back under sail, across the Narrows to Nevis.
