I know it has taken me ages, but I have finally got round to starting the blog again! The last two or three weeks have been non stop while we try and get the boat put back together and get everything tested before we leave. Eventually, however, we leave tomorrow, and head slightly north to Nevis to give all the systems a proper clean out and run up. The most basic thing at the moment is that the engine starter battery had gone flat over summer and us being a bit tricky, so a good few hours of motoring will hopefully put that right - fingers crossed! Other than that, we need to fully test the watermaker and the sails as well, we have been out on two test sails to make sure the rig is up to speed and have now been given a full bill of health by the rigging team here.
Apart from the work, we have also been having a lot of fun. We are currently in the harbour with Glenn, on Sylvia, David and Suzanne, our buddy boat friends for the next couple of months, and Pat and Stuart on BriZo. We have all had a good few nights out and we especially enjoyed a Sunday lunch treat at Catherine's Cafe, at the new venue on Pigeon Beach.
After tomorrow's trip, our loose plan is to spend a night or two in Nevis and then head south to St Lucia for a few days. After a provisioning stop in Martinique for all those delicious French delicacies, we head south west to Bonaire, which has the most spectacular diving in the whole Caribbean.

As I said before - it's not all work, work work, it just seems like it at times! Here we are enjoying lunch at Catherine's Cafe, with David & Suzanne, Pat & Stuart and Glenn.
