We are now on day 3 of our transatlantic adventure, the crew are all settling into the routine, and to life at sea generally. We had our last glimpse of land just before sunset on Sunday night - and it is about 2900 miles to the next sighting of land.

After trawling our fishing rod for a couple of hours yesterday, there was great excitement when we got a bite on the line, unfortunately, this one and the next one got away!

The second thing they managed to hook was in fact the ensign, which then took about half an hour to free.

So far we have done about 250 miles - all going well so far. The weather has been very kind to us over the last two days (long may it last), and although the winds are fairly light, the twin headsail rig is pulling us along nicely at an average of about 6k.
