After an early dinner, by Spanish time, we went out about 10.30pm to find the town centre. It was very obvious when we arrived at it was packed full of people eating and drinking. Every bar and restaurant had tables in the street and there was a definite buzz about the place. As we wandered round we came across a few bodegas which sell sherry and tapas. This one had a long list of drinks - none of which we recognised - so we took pot luck and paid 70 cents, (about 60p) each for a glass of white sherry and a glass of red. These were they only ones obviously by the glass and as we decided to try both colours, it made ordering easier. The taste was a little sharp though.
Further wanderings took us back towards the beach area which again was still very lively. The temperature at 1am when we left town to come home was about 28 degrees.
Sunday was a day of relaxation, after a morning of jobs. We went to town at lunchtime for tapas but a lot of the bars etc were closed. We did find the bodega again and this time tried moscatel (a bit dear at 80 cents a large glass!) which we definitely preferred. Lunch was a couple of tapas in another bodegas - this one served wine though although the red was cold.
