We arrived today at 7am and after a snooze and cleaning the boat down we set out to check in and treat ourselves to a nice lunch at our favourite brasserie.  We were told that customs was closed as it was a holiday, but they didn't know which one.  Later on our way to the restaurant, we saw a poster announcing the Mardi Gras Parade for this afternoon.  Half way through lunch we heard the music and went outside to watch.  It was a huge parade full of noise, loud music and fun.  There were massive sound systems for every one of the 15 or so different dance troupes wearing costumes representing different countries such as the Caribbean, Africa, Egypt and even some Bollywood dancers for India.  It was a real spectacle and definitely worth seeing, here are some of the highlights.....

John, as ever the shrinking violet, likes to get in on the action!!

Seriously though these girls can shake their booty's, even the youngest among them!!

... and some have good sized bootys as well!!!

You get the idea......
