After a week of R&R in Noumea, New Caledonia, tomorrow 26 November we’re off to Coffs Harbour, Australia. Too short, although we managed to get our share of baguettes, croissants, crevettes, magret de canard and foie gras, so quite some calories to burn during our trip to Australia. Quite challenging, as we still have a truck load of food to eat (Daph provisioned very safely), which will otherwise be confiscated by Ozzie Customs. So probably I won’t be allowed to trawl a line for some fresh tuna, as we only fish for food. We hope to spend a bit more time in New Cal next season on our way from Australia to Vanuatu.

Some 900 nm from New Caledonia to Coffs Harbour, so a 5-6 days sail, the latter part through the northern part of the infamous Tasman Sea. The weather looks benign for the latter part, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
