Another day of consistent winds between 15-20 kts from ESE, we sleep well,
eat well, sail well, enjoy the trip to the max.

Finally, after a cold Galápagos winter month with water temperatures of
around 21deg and sleeping under a duvet (due to the Humboldt current, which
also explains the extraordinary wildlife there, see Wikipedia if you'd like
to know more), we're getting into the tropics again: sleeping under a
blanket is too much, the water temperature is 27deg and rising and the
watermaker produces the 150+ liters of water per hour again we were so used
to (production increases with higher temperatures).

Homemade quiche for lunch, who would consider buying one at the Appie ever
again?

After a mail some days ago to make friends aware of the fact we were keeping
a faithful blog of our passage lot's of feedback. Not only is it still a
miracle to us that we can mail with family and friends from the middle of
the ocean, but the feeling of being completely by ourselves in isolation in
our twilight zone gets a slightly different dimension. Keep them coming!
