At last we have Gijima loaded on Motor Vessel âHappy Riverâ after some
delays in getting through the canal, so Gijima has left Costa Rica, on itâs way
across the Pacific. It will land in Newcastle in NSW March 7th or there abouts,
where we will meet it and have some work done on it.
So we leave Batemans Bay after the family has been here a month enjoying
family and settling in, it has been great for setting up in Australia, as we
have the basics sorted and feel comfortable. We start heading north to Sydney
tomorrow where we will have a couple of days before going to Newcastle to sort
out slips etc, and then on north. Last week I went to Melbourne flying down the
coast on a regional plane the sites were fantastic, following the coast not high
up, the beaches rolling below.
The boys have been seeing many things and animals, going to beach every
day, surfing etc, .
We are looking forward to getting the boat back, the boys ask about Gijima,
and we look forward to ariving and settling for a couple of months again
exploring the area, but for now we have 1000 miles to explore by coast.
