Yesterday we took the boys back to a hotel with a pool, which allows us to use the pool if we buy breakfast or lunch.
In the afternoon I helped Sunsation come onto the dock in a Med Tie arrangement where they have their end on the dock and have an anchor arrangement off the dock. This worked the docks here are old but Tim is a nice guy and John and Sharon are going back to states for Thanksgiving and Christmas so want there boat secured.
We are making our plans for the next couple of weeks:
1/ Latter this week we going inland to Panama to a town called DAVID and then up into highlands to look around for 4 days.
Then back and we will ferry over to OSA Peninsula to a lodge to stay 4 nights in what is described as the most rich in bird life and animals areas in Central America, it will involve a 1 hour ferry, 1 hour muddy taxi 4 wheel, to a remote lodge on the beach, but should be nice.
We will then come back from there and then take the boat out into Gulf of Dulce for a week to 10 days of cruising before returning to ship the boat, this allows us to have a good look around this fascinating area which so many miss, and we have had some really recommend.
Today Tracy took the boys walking down to the parks, while I spent the day wiping down the inside of the boat with vinegar to get rid of mold build up over the last 3 weeks of rain, this just takes hours and you then have the dust, but detailed job, and gave me the chance to unpack my cloths throw some out, and choose some to return to US with. But due to mold they need a good wash, my work leather shoes had to be thrown out they nearly walked out the boat with mold. Have another 4 to 5 hours to do tomorrow but it worth doing it well makes the boat so much more livable. It will all need to be done again in January when we get to Australia but there we hope the climate is less wet, so we can take everything out and then take a good shot at it.
I had the refrigeration degassed today a major thing for importing to Australia.
So good progress on getting to boat and lives sorted, while also enjoying the calm anchorage to sleep, and rest.
