After an initial ride to border of Costs Rica and Panama our fun started, we checked out of Costa rica, and then walked through the border to check into Panama, our plan was 3 to 4 days just touring the highlands, well not so easy. you need proof of leaving panama ege a return ticket, but we had no tickets as we were doing things on the buses local much cheaper and more often. But wehad to go a travel agent in the middle of the border and buy a bus ticket from David in Panama to San Jose in Costa Rica for 15 dollars, (mad as the local buses are 2 dollars) and show the border immeragtion this to be allowed into the country. so we spent over an hour getting through the border, (why is every border unique ) on walking out the other side we jumped on a local mini van with a capacity for 20 but with at least 30 people on board, off we went to DAVID in northern Panama. We got to the bus terminal in DAVID 1 hour latter after stopping at all stops on the way, we then jumped in a taxi for the 30 min ride up into highlands. arriving at the town of Boquete nesseled in the green valley with mountains on the sides full of coffee plantations. We found the bakery and a great little place to saty, I have come back into an Internet cafe to print our flight out of Costa Rica as we will need this to re eneter Costa Rica in a couple of days.

We will tour a coffee plantation tomorrow, then see what to do.
