We then hit the beach full low tide, so the boys played in the river, caught fish, and swam, as the jungle birds of prey came out to hunt above us, making it interesting.
This afternoon after swinging and swimming off the back Sean and I took the dinghy for a sail up to the restaurant for a drink, and then out along the mangroves in ideal conditions we cut through the mirror water.
Tracy has been packing her final things away as we head back to Golfito in the morning, and the following morning she and boys will get on the plane to San Jose and then California, while I will stay around and clean up the boat, pack it away. The ship has been delayed again, so I am likely to leave the boat loading in the hands of Tim at Land Sea Marina (he and I loaded the last boat) and allow myself to get back a week before Christmas to see people and get things done.
But as I showering off the back of the boat the peaceful atmosphere, and the birds all in song calling each other, just behind me in jungle, the clean water around me and slight breeze make it and ideal way to finish our anchorages in Central America. Hopefully the next one will be in Australia. Central America has been good to us, I have enjoyed is more than I excepted and it places like here, St Elena, and Bahia Culbria which will stand out.
But most of all it is the freedom and time with the family been with them as they grow up, and experience which is the rewarding part.
