Hi Folks,

Not much to report, we are relentlessly slogging away at the flats and should be finished in a few weeks, our Nephew Jack is over for "labour down under" that sounds painful but he has adapted well for a teenager, up at 7am work for 9 hrs then back to base for a hot meal and bed, repeat repeat .... he is about to pick up his first pay packet , oh the joys of growing up ...... its a long haul to the other end about fifty years on average I think, some of us escape earlier though.

The last of the boats have finally left the Bay of Islands, our friends in Rhythm have left at last for Bundaburg in Australia, that an empty bay until next November when the next fleet arrives from Tonga and Fiji, we have had mail from some of our friends who have departed, more sandy beaches, we on the other hand are looking forward to summer and getting back on the water to cruise around the NZ coast at a leisurely pace.
After the summer up there we will be looking at moving her closer to home and down to Wellington, we have soughed out a marina berth for her at Sea View, its based at the mouth of the Hutt river in Wellington harbour .
We don't know what we are going to do after the flats so that's all up in the air, meanwhile this week is our road trip to Rota Vegas, then we will be back for a few days before going skiing up a volcano I know it sounds a bit bizarre but that's were the resort is on the North Island,it still active and rumbling away down below, hope I don't get blown off my skies on the way down, or obliterated in a pyroclasic death wind ..

That's all from Weelywood for now .....
