Hi Folks,

Busy day on the sail front , we dragged out the staysail spare as we need to increase speed whilst the wind is good , pulled down the gennicker , winds to high to use this sail i.e. over 15 knts, and flew the staysail spare , its given us another knot so we are grateful as the main Yankee is out of action and we are now running with the wind at 7 knts .. pity the swell doesn't come from the same direction as the wind ! although we have managed to do another 150 nm day again ..
More boring Tec details for you , we have used nearly 600 litres of water , our tanks are full but that what the watermaker has produced in the last 14 days.
Food stocks holding up well , the Spam tins are going down fasts , the bread making is going well with fresh bread every day from the duty chef , yes girls that even the men baking the bread ! no fish in the last few days although two sets of tackle have been lost , allegedly due to chafe on there wires !
Not much other news except for more bouncing about in the briny for yet another day , the tension is mounting though on the guessing game front as the time draws near for landfall to appear everybody's wondering what's in each others envelopes , sealed in the safe only to opened on arrival , the winner gets to buy Rob new shorts ! why you may ask , its all we could think of as he had them allegedly nicked in the Galapagos Isles , probably by a seal who fancied a laugh , they were bright orange !

Well with more bounce to the nautical mile than zebadee chasing Florance ! unfortunatly were not on the same stuff as the guy who wrote the magic rounderbout but we are wishing we were so as the time will pass quickly iand we will wake up in calmer south sea island bays !

A Tossed Bunch of sea salts
