Hi All,
The bad news first we have no wind, this is the
second day of motoring! We have a new position to be filled
morale officer. Diana will be promoted to entertainment and morale
officer. She doesn't know this yet but since, at the breakfast gathering,
she said that the crew do not need much help from her because we seem
to be good at entertaining ourselves. This is called planning
ahead just in case we all go a bit quite and also Diana needs lots to
do.
Now it's time for the bit where I abuse the
skipper, by day 2 I was sure we had him under control but would you believe it
he wanted to be piped on deck this morning! Oh well it's three steps
forward and two back and back to working on a better solution. As a
result of the abuse I gave him yesterday I've been put on mother duties which
means I do all the feeding and watering of the crew and get abuse. Just
wait till skip gets to be mother!
There's another problem, skipper 2 or is it 1
(she is known as fluffy) changed the rules on mother duties and I can tell
you that this means war! Fluffy has crossed the line on this one so boys
against girls starts here. I'll try to gather the evidence and let you
judge for yourselves.
Margaret and Andy thanks for monitoring our
progress. Day 1 blog and position log got lots somewhere, this computer
thinks it went. We have sent a repeat of the blog for day 1. We
think it essential that you also monitor our sanity since at the breakfast
gathering we were talking about dressing up in drag for our arrival.
Dianna says that they are probably used to this sort of thing and say
"Bugger another lot have made it across".
There is no rush BUT I've got to go, the crew
are restless and want coffee made for them.
