Hi folks , were out of the gloom, left the rain behind at Camarinas left at 8:00 fully booted and spurred , this included thermal gear , full foul weather gear , ready for 25 knots plus the Cabo Finisterre extra bitty .. add 10 more knots , so we were ready for the whole lot , didn't turn out that way good wind for half the journey sun came out the Cabo looked a pussy purring in the sun with no suprises as we rounded the cape and headed in to the Ria de Muros ,found the harbour , dropped the hook in 10m of water shot out 150ft of chain for a good nights sleep we were in the anchorage by 17:30 and thought this is a nice quite little place tucked up under a mountain, the sun was blazing and we looked like a couple of sad old strippers throwing off layers of cloths as we entered the anchorage the temp shot up by 7 deg from entering the Ria the warm afternoon wind from the land was roasting our little nuts off a dramatic change from the last four days , by !9:00 two French and a Dutch boat cam in the Dutch guy anchored off a reasonable distance but guess what the French ploughed strait in and  dumped his hook right in front of me the other a few boat lengths in front disappeared below not to be seen again ,the wind picked up and I thought these two buggers will be sliding up my chain when they drag like bits of steak on a skewer ..
Rig fender to repel the frogs was my first thought ,we waited for a while wind picked up to 20 plus knots and they remained stuck to were the put there hooks ..will be fun when they raise there hooks , will keep you posted on this one to see if I have caught one.
As dusk approached so did the flies " Carl the bat works great " a gift from Carl and Debbie in the shape of a tennis bat with loads of high tension wires you simply swat the fly and all his extremities are fried , three min with a combo attack of lyn on the Pif Paf and me on the swatter we had stunned and fried a good 20 of the little varmints .. fly screens up and heads down for the night a job well done .
Lyn said she wanted to have her little section in the blog as she thinks the girlies out there are probable getting bored with my constant speel so her she goes !!!!!!

We have been very lucky each time we have been out at sea in these waters we have had the company of dolphins jumping at the bow and staying with us for 15 min , we haven't seen many boats in the Rias since leaving La Corunia , just fishermen who head straight for you once they have sighted you , we met a grumpy old ex trawler skipper in his westerly making his way back from Turkey his wife  left the boat sometime time back so the grumpy skipper was taking her back to Plymouth on his own , we asked him when he was leaving ,his reply was "I'm not leaving in this s**t I'm watching the football tonight" , we wondered what the big round thing was he had strapped to the side of his boat we thought it was a boogie board  ..wrong it was a satalight dish he even managed to get Coronation Street down here .
