Hi Folks,

Sorry its been a few weeks since my last blogg, its been all go again , the house is now ours so all that remains is to go back to Wellington and do the refurb, first though Zephyr has to have some TLC.
We drove from Wellington on Thursday up to Auckland, 650 km which took us about 9 hrs, we went to stay with some old boating friends who have settled in Auckland, well its not actually Auckland but Devonport, a wonderful peninsular town with great views of the Hiraki gulf, you know the place were the Americas cup took place, it turns out that they all the boats are here this month, racing again but all the spats on the legal side, the super rich owners falling out with each other all the time has some what marred a good racing series, the Brits did well with Ben Aninsle at the helm .
We went round and picked up our spare parts we ordered prior to leaving Wellington, Ike our old friend from Rhythm had already been onboard and stripped out the main water pump, ready for the new one to be installed, not quite as simple as that as they don't stock the parts for our centrifugal one so we have to install something else . . .
We arrived Saturday morning, the usual unload and hump all the gear onboard, visit the store with all the other crap we don't immediately need, saw a few friends that evening, Ike Becky and Dan who we haven't seen since Bora Bora, they didn't arrive here till the 28th of December, Paul and Anna a Dutch couple  we also met in the Society Islands, she is now pregnant, that number two as our other friends we have known since Panama, Jason and Fiona have also been down that route , infact as we have known them for over a year you could say we have seen it from beginning to end as she gave birth to Molly May on the 18th of Jan 09.
And on that happy note I will end the blogg , news of Rob and Ruth is that they are down south in there camper van . with skipper Rob at the helm and Ruth as a galley slave .....
