Dear Blog Readers,
I suppose it's our own fault but Lady Di of Foulkes, who briefly met the Darch's when she surveyed Zepher and myself (RYA YM(O) now known as comms) who met them briefly on their hurried return to the UK for spares(or so they said after hurriedly leaving Spain). We, unlike most of you who have known Chris for longer, had no idea what we were letting ourselves into.    Is there any truth that all those volunteers to sail dropped out or were they more sensible?

We are now stuck half way from here to there and with no escape from Chris's humour, well that's what he calls it. Fortunately Capt Fluffy does her best to keep him under control but he is becoming less manageable.  So, bloggers what is needed is some ammunition from you, in the form of your worst "Chris" moments. I realise some may be rude but we are people of the World. I know plenty of you will have sympathy for our predicament. Hope to hear from you soon.
The crew did receive a message of symphony from Chris's sister yesterday, thanks Sis. (she understands)

The other thing is, Chris not content with giving crew posh descriptions he's now suggesting an honours i.e. ropepuller first class. Oh dear, he will want Capt Fluffy to sew him a crown next.

On the sailing front, we are waiting for a blow of about 20-25 knots over the next few days which should give us a good push for the final 1500nm.
The temperature only reached 30c yesterday and it was a bit sticky.

Love to you all from the good ship Zephyranthes.

Graeme (plain Comms Officer)

PS To my dear wife, Happy Wedding Anniversary.
