6am.  and a large golden ball has just risen from the horizon, heralding in another hot day, and chasing off the chill of night.  We have made steady progress through the night of flourish knots in light winds.  Chris has been in consultation with Lyn, and it's all hands on deck now to rig out second spinnaker pole with a view to down wind sailing using a twin head sail configuration.  Should pick up some speed watch out Rhythm were behind you ( 1500nm) and closing.
I had my line out at first light, just hope we are not going too fast to catch anything.  That's been our excuse for catching less than Rhythm.  Chris is getting fussy about the fish we catch, and is now requesting a dorado.  Apparently tuna is not good enough for him.  Speaking of him, he is mother today.  It would be nice to present him with a fish to bake for tea.  Still he will be hard pressed to better Lyn's curry of last night.  Brilliant, complete with onion baji and bread, but no beer, we are all TT again until the Marquises.  The Marquises and French Polynesia are now our focus of attention.  Though the Galapagos is not forgotten with all of us saying that we will be back some day.  We were just watching some large shoals of flying fish skimming over the waves, when we saw the cause of there flight. A large tuna/dorado or something leapt out of the water several times chasing after them.  Hope he thinks my lure is a slow flying fish!

Sub Lieutenant Chod Bin ( controller of WC duties )

Much scatalogical ruminations in the WC department since we left the Galapagos , we don't know whether it was the beer or the pitza we had on the last night , all is solid but frequent  toilet paper will have to go on ration at this rate !

Have a happy day
