Hi Folks,

Sorry for the short blog yesterday but I had a spot of Licquorish problems, it started the night before on a friends boat and by yesterday evening I was bequesting my btm to any god that would stop it  ... luckily this morning it was safe to leave the vessel and venture more that 200m from the porcelain throne known affectionately on here as a baby Blake ... oh how I wish I hadn't had the can of Mexican Pacifico beer ...  anyway I awoke to a stunning backdrop of  Cooks bay , this ranks with Oa Pou in the marquasers with the added bonus of fresh French stick only 200m away by dingy .
After doing a few chores around the boat which included fitting "Wings" to our outboard engine leg , this has greatly enhanced our performance just like the brochure said , which makes a change in the boating world .. we set off to explore the perifery of the bay, two small villages one at the head and one in the bottom of the bay , good small supermarkets, a fuel dock but with the tranquillity of the bays in the Marquises , only a few yachts as well about makes it one of our favourites so far and is blessed relief after the hustle and bushel of Tahiti , not to say we didn't enjoy being back in civilisation but this place is the happy medium easing us back into the tranquil bay life with a few mod cons added to the edges ..
We also reported to the local police station as instructed in Tahiti but they weren't interested and polity sent us on our way , which funnily enough was a small shop with ice cold beers , once purchased we slowly meandered back to the boat , sat on soft cushions sipped ice beer and watched the sun set to the aroma from the galley of one of Cpt Fluffys curry's bubbling in the pot ...

The Vindalooed crew ..

PS they crew thought it was just what I needed after a dose of the Liquorice
