Hi Folks,

A day of running about with fuel, gas which was very amusing , as most of you know I worked in the oil and gas industry for many years and have been to quite a few gas filling plants , the "Tongan way though was a revelation in H & S , all the safety signs were up ! we arrived with our gas  bottles , a guy on a stage with a high pressure gas hose was connecting all the US gas bottles and gassing them up , when it came to the French and Brit bottles a piece of cardboard was cut out placed over the hole and the nozzle pushed against it ! gas pissing out from everywhere but the bottles were filled ! don't strike a match or start your car .. the cars were just next to the filling station with there engines running , all the safety signs looked real good though .
We then went off to the fuel station , its a pound a litre here too !
It was then a mad dash back to the boat to get ready for Gail and co, off to meet them at 14:30 as it turns out the flight was delayed as the carrier pidgins had a wing down, it turns out that the guys arrived in Nukaloafa at 09:00 in the morning, and waited till 14:00 to get the transfer pidgins ...  they had been on the go since 4 o/c that morning and the kids were all knackered , at the mention of the pool they revived, we went off to the bar , and that was the end of that day , it was great to see Gail and Devyn after so long and was a bit emotional for all of us .
We all ended up in the Aquarium bar/resturant and got back home by 10:30 , straight to bed, a lot of snoring I believe ..
