At last we are free of Colon , we transited to the upper lakes last night , we picked up the pilot at 20:00 and were rafted alongside him for the up locking , having done it two nights previously to this we were well versed in the technique of avoiding  wall collisions ! we got to the lake at 01:00 the next morning , dropped off the pilot and had to anchor because all the mooring buoys were occupied .. 21m of water we dumped the whole lot over the side and had a peaceful few hrs sleep , at 5 o/c were up and about waiting for the pilot vessel to bring out the new pilot he arrived at 6:30 and we were on the road again through Banana cut and then into the main channel , we arrived at the first set of down locks and transited to the lower locks by 14:00 , dropped of the pilot and went to anchor between two islands on the tip of Balboa , we were all completely knackerd and after a tidy up and shower we are hitting the hay early ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
