Starry starry night , what a contrast from the previous night, bright moon light to start with clear sky's and a light breeze to blow us along to, I Pod strapped to head listening to Toots and the Maytells I boogied the watch away, gazing up at the sky , and around about for other vessel's.
Only one light last night, a small yacht called "Sebright" who we have met along the way a few times since Panama , she soon drifted into the distance as we were wafted along at 7 knots, we are now catching the fleet of yachts that left Bora Bora the day before us , we should clock our 500 nm by midday today that's three days out, with 800 nm to go and light airs ahead of us as reported on the ANZAC net this morning we will  be shaking out the Genicker for another light airs blast .
As their have been many rhymes being banded about on the vessel since leaving Bora Bora we have been trying to cobble up something for the blog , with Tonga,Wonga,Conga to be mixed in it , anyway Ruth seems to have come up with the most sensible one so far with additional sonnets by Chris ! ...

"An Ode to Tonga"

Zephyr's back to sea again,
With no need to hoist the main,
Down wind sails are now set,
No bad weather of yet

Lazy days in the sun,
And fish caught are none,
But soon boredom sets in,
With no beer or Gin,

No worries says Chris,
It won't be much longer,
Till were anchored in Tonga,
Then we'll go out on the *iss

On the rib front the pain killers bought in Bora Bora seem to be weaker than the ships ones, either that or I'm getting used to them, its been a week since the plunging from the peak incident and I guess something's starting to mend inside ...I'm still managing to gain sympathy from the crew but that will run out soon when there sea sick pills wear off , O to be in the Veg locker ,trouble is I'm too crocked to get in !
My only duties seem to be to tell the sun bathers on the fwd deck when its time to turn over , as we are taking full advantage of this moment ...

The bread making is under way again but were having trouble with the new yeast so its a Bit of hard tack for lunch and another scout around the cook books for Ideas to do with duff yeast  I'm sure Mr Rodes wont let us down.

On the mechanical electrical front it seems as if another of the engine state batteries has failed, as the engine would not start this morning , its probable the other battery we didn't change in Panama, we have a spare though in the redundant gen set which is the same, and not seeing any use at the moment !
