Hi Folks,

Wind and rain last night what ever next , it was a shock to have both , we even had to reef the sails , but progress has been so slow with lack of wind over the previous day that we will not make the tide gate at Rangiroa by midday on the 14th, so that means slowing down to arrive the next day at the same time to entre the lagoon .
Repairs to the roll furler thismorning , the drum had become unattached from the body so it had to be unwound and soughed out , the cause we think was a loose coupling nut, its a good job the winds had died down and that it did not occur lastnight that would have been fun !
Up the mast again to check on our track repair , its the first time since it was repaired that it has had some serious stick , it all seems to be hanging in there so that's a plus point .
Not much else has happened , no fish , but we live in hope the lines are out ... Rob is the chef today so we await his culinary delights at lunchtime ..

A  Crew with wind in there hair , well some of them !!
