Hi Folks ,

Well we have departed from Rangiroa this morning at 08:00 , cleared the pass and set on course to clear the Tuamotoes chain of atolls hopefully by nightfall , the wind isn't doing much , at the moment its on the nose so we are having to motor clear of the islands first before setting sail to Tahiti .
We had a final farewell drink with Wolfgang and Eva last night and were remarkably sprite this morning at 6:30, Rob was on top form as the cheeky chappie , whilst I for a change took the back seat and gave my vocalcords a break , Lyn quietly dozed in the corner although she clamed later to have heard every word .. I think it was the extended lunch ashore that caused it .
I was nominated chef today as I escaped it on the last day coming into these atolls so the crew mutinied and nominated me to put the piny on , or was it the late night and copious ammonites of beer that had something to do with it I wonder !

A crew in need of an afternoon nap ( an unlikely chance in amongst these Islands !)
