Hi Folks,
Another adventure day, Rob,Ruth and Myself went on
a diving exped , Split rock , and Rhino point, two contrasting dives , the
weather here is still overcast with rain every now and again , but that doesn't
matter down under , first dive was into lime stone caves , black tip sharks live
in these areas and using torches we highlighted them , we then proceeded to
split rock , it was really like walking along a path in somewhere like canyon
land except it was underwater and we were swimming .
The second dive was along a beautiful coral
reef chain, some of the best coral we have seen a camera would have been handy
but alas we have none ..
Saw more whales on the way back so we were
spoilt for choice , the rain came back down again and it started to get cold ,
by the time we got back to the dive centre we needed our hot chocolate
!
Lunched at the Mermaid cafe, which also doubles as
the yacht club here ..
Afternoon saw more overcast weather , so it was
cards and a hot shower up at Hotel Paridiso , a few gins and another day passed
by ..
