Hi Folks,

Sorry about yesterday but it was all a bit too much for all of us being alongside after five months on the hook or sailing, we worked out that we have been at sea for 40% of that time to which throws out the old theory of "Yachting World" of 15% of any one year !
Anyway the weather calmed down and we were all up bright and early 06:30  to get the boat ready for our first Med. style mooring , with hardly any wind and no tide we reversed into our slot like a bunch of old pros, the laugh was that we have no plank or as the posh people call them a pasoral so the marina lent us a large plank which we have adapted with the use of 16mm wood bit and a bit of string , we can now really walk the plank !
Once we were tied up stern too we ventured ashore to try out the plank it worked great and even Ruth managed to walk across without crawling.
After lunch Lyn,Rob and myself went on the treasure hunt looking for spares , we took Lyn on one of our famous "Industrial Estate Tours" which I have become famous for over the years , La Corona,Vigo,Lanzarote Martinique,Panama and now Tahiti added to the list .
After three hrs of trudging we had obtained 17 of the items so that only leaves 21 to go , another foray will be taking place shortly !
On the way back we fell into a bar with a Polynesian band playing, it turned out they were from NZ but sounded really authentic , they should have been they were Mouiri..
After getting the bus back to the Marina we fell into another bar, were Wolfgang and Eva from Slipiner were drinking and caught up on there last brave dash from Tuamotoes to Tahiti, the boats hulls held together so now they can relax after a fraught 4000 nm of wondering weather their hulls would remain stuck together !
After that we all tumbled back to the boat were "Mrs Miggings" knocked up a slap up meal then we all collapsed into our beds ..

A Contented and Happy crew!
