Shark bay

Hi Folks,

We have moved from TaioHae Bay Nuku Hiva to Hakatea Bay and calm at last , its a beautiful inlet with a double bay inside it , with a 4 to 7 ft swell running on the outside we cruised into the tranquil calm and dropped our anchor , Ike Becky and Dan on Rhythm were first in , with us close behind them , a very large super yacht called "Mystere" was anchored at the head of the bay so we weaved our way round the back of her and anchored in 9 m of water , Ruth was on the nav , Rob was on the Anchor I was on the helm and Lyn was on my case !
After anchoring we sat down to lunch , then I proceeded to make some ice cream, its my first so results will be unknown until tomorrow ..
In the afternoon Lyn and Rob started fishing again , guess what after trolling between the Islands for the past few weeks and catching nothing she caught a shark , a black tip to boot , a great debate ensued as to weather it was edible , Rob had a large lump of metal ready to dispatch it , with Lyn egging him on , Ruth and myself the Eco friendly brigade said that it should be released , after I held it and Lyn removed the hook we drooped it back in and it swam off non the worse for its ordeal close shave with Robs anchor windlass handle .
Lyn cooked cookies for afternoon tea and the debate about the shark carried on , with much banter exchanged from both sides of the fence " to eat or not to eat "
that was the question , but after asking Ike the suprimo Hunter gatherer from Rhythm it turns out that they taste of ammonia ! how do the japs eat them then !
