Paradise Lost,

Arrived safe and sound , a quick visit to the customs and immigration which was open, we did all the documents which were many , the Panamanians like there paperwork , Ike called us and guided us into a beutiful lagoon which a deep anchorage in between two islands , the local natives came out in there dug out canoes with fish , lobster and handicrafts , they sit patiently and try to sell there wares , we bought 12 lobsters for 18 dollars US  in Martinique it was 10 Euro for one , apparently all of the lobsters from this region are sent to Columbia and freeze packed , then sent to feed the Caribbean islands .
This area of the San Blas is completely unspoilt now so it must have been event more remote in the 50s when the pilot book we have was written but it has a great simplistic charm about it something we have not seen on our travels so far , it just as we imagined the Caribbean to be and we are glad that we came here and not gone strait to Panama and transited the canal .

On a lighter note , humor levels are riseing , but today we were so taken with the sights of these islands and the people that we thought it only fitting to do at least one sensible blogg .
