New Zealand Visas

Hi All,

Well its been a strange month, new crew arrived at the beginning of the month , Rob and Ruth, a week after the Hotel Zephyr closed here doors,Rob and Ruth settled in well and we started getting the boat ready for Panama , we were waiting on new insurance docs and new money cards from the UK it coincided with the holidays here which go on for a week, mean while our mail in transit took nearly two weeks to arrive , just as the last pack arrived and we were prepping to leave a large bomb shell arrived in the form of an em from the NZ visa agent saying that our visas were approved and that we had to get them stamped into our passports by early July, after the fiasco with DHL again, we thought that if we sent them from here to London , approx three days , about a week on some ones desk before getting a stamp and another five to ten days to get them back here another month would have gone, plus the risk of loosing them and all that that entails we opted to send "Capt. Veg locker" back to Blighty it was a mad rush , booked tickets Thursday on Plane Friday in embassy Monday , collect spares Tuesday , lucky as the grey tank pump diaphragm had given up the goast and the remaining incumbents spent a day pumping out the bilges and trying to figure out the system without Veg Locker or Washboards guidance, Rob and the girls effected a good repair and all was well in the grey tank area when Capt. Veg Locker returned .
All jobs completed , so Monday we will be going to anchor to scrub the bottom , once that is completed we will at last set sail for Panama , blog service will resume as normal with new contributors putting in there ten pennies worth .
A name has been put forward to replace Capt Fluffy , it is Pinky Pom Pom , but we dont know yet if we will get approval , but a vote from the outside would help .

Thats All for now
