Hi Folks,

This weekend the clocks go back and we get a one hr lay in ! I will be glad of it personnaly, it seems that this old life of retirment is a bit of a misdonoma....
The coast guard thing is realy busy at the momnet, with the new boat being bought up to readyness, lots
of little bit and pieces, and a few major ones to sought, but its all going along resonable well.
We took zepher out on a little cruise last Friday, the forcast was resonable, but Windy Wellington rep struck, am was fine as we drifted down the coast just outside the harbour entrance, everybody had there rods out, thats fishing .... caught five, then the wind piped up to 40 knts, the lads who came out wanted to sail as well, so we put up the main 3 rd reef, out with the staysail and tacked our way back to Wellington hbr, it was a bit like the Solent, as the wind was coming from the North West, over the mountains, not much swell or chop but a good 7.5 knt beat to windward, we had forgoten after all our down wind stuff
exactly what it felt like, the lads loved it , heeled over lots of spray and stuff, just like the americas cup
they all said ! give me 30 knts and twin head sails anyday .
On the house front,  we had an open house last Sat, it was gone within one hr, five good candidates,
all checked out by Tuesday, and the lucky applicant moves in on thursday this week, it a pretty fixed
system of checks, not like UK, once you are a registered landlord you hav the right to join the club so to speak and all the credit checking facilitys and ref checks you need are avalable, the privacy brigade back in old blighty would have a fit !

Anyway Iv been a bit laxed in my eming to you all and will try and catch up over the next few weeks
on a personal level ...

The Automanal Noahs .... the sun is shinning its just getting that nip in the air ......
