Hi Folks,

Well the weather whooped itself up as predicted to a 25 knt Westerly, it wasn't the wind but the sea, coming in from 1500m water depth to 100m the wave height was quite steep, a good thing that it was on our stern quarter, the Zeph was surfing along at eight Knts for a time, we had a good four hrs worth, it pushed us along the track into the Cook straight, as quickly as it came up it was gone !
Now we are windless !  engine is on as we only have 75 nm to go and want to get in before the next blow comes through later tmrw, so the handle is down and we hope to be alongside our new berth by 2100 this evening , the Zephs engine is at 3/4 full power and we are making a good 7.5 knts .....

The buffeted four down under ..

PS Sonja continues to keep her cool with big large blue ones creeping up behind her in the night !
