Hi Folks,

Well we arrived to an almosrt empty bay but buy 19:00 hrs it was like a south coast anchorage, stinkpots mainly doing a kind of French anchoring technuique, that is to say rush into the smallest spot, dump your anchor and chain over the side, get in your dingy and shoot off ashore asap, and that was the night that was, motor boats varying from 25ft to 60ft some moored three boats wide on one anchor all doing the french mans shuffle, some were jigging and snatching about so much once the wind got up to 20 knots that some of them decided to blast off back to Opua thankfully, I was contemplating moving out further but the worst offenders went and we settled back into our G and T seats and watched the sun set again  ... oh yes  ..

To Laid back to care .......
