Hi Folks,
Sorry its been a while since my last rant but my PC
has been sick, I have been using
Gail's to access my em's but its not the same,
anyway I'm back on line , its the first time I have been PC less for a long time
.
Anyway just to let you all know I'm back,
photos to be posted of the last road trip shortly.
I have been following avidly Roger and Margaret's
blog, of there trip to Spain on Magnetic Attraction,Roger you may recall was on
the Atlantic crossing so it was great to share there cruising experience form
the other end so to speak, they should be back in blighty by now loaded with all
there goodies from Spain and France, Brie running out the lockers and red wine
bottles rattling in the bilges on there homeward dash across the channel to
Gosport.
The reason I am up at this ungodly time is that we
have just had a quake, I woke at 2:08 and at 2:10 local time it felt like the
whole house had been picked up and shaken, we were all in bed at the time and
the after shocks went on for a few minuets later, we went on the NZ quake site
geonet.org and it turned out to be a 5.6 , Gail said it was the worst she had
felt in 11 years here and if we had been in a wooden house it feels and sounds a
lot worse that what we experienced.
Well shaken and stirred I'm off back to bed
..
