Hi Folks,

Happy New Year to all who read this blog, its been a bright and sunny day here in Wellington, the new year started with a keep fit campaign, we will see how long it lasts, burning off the excess Christmas pud will be a priority, only me that is , Lyn has actually put on One Kilo ! she can have a few kilos of mine if she wants .... anyway a seven km walk with Gail who is also on a " Chuck the Kilos" mission, around Evens Bay, with the wind howling up the harbour it was a nice cooling blast which took the heat out of the sun, we cant complain about the weather as its been wonderful over the holidays.
This time of year is when the summer holidays start so most Kiwis take off with there tents and campervans to the beeches and inland to the boonies, its a bit like August in France ..
We have been trolling around looking for flats and houses but have not located any yet, the market prices are due to drop further in the new year, we have a lot of work to do on the boat so the house hunting will probably be put on hold once we go north to the bay of islands.
We have located a good place in a marina down here for when we final bring Zephyr down, there are only three marinas in the whole of Wellington !
two are really exposed but our visit to the one in Sea View was fruitful ,
it  a funny thing because that's were the container is located, the saga continues on that one on Jan the fifth, along with drains and doctors its going to be a fun packed day ......
