Day two full of drama, but boat and crew now
working well together. The crew demarcation is settled as Chris and Lyn
skipper (no disagreement yet; quite remarkable) Diana entertainment's officer,
Graeme comms, Roger engineering. The only problem we have is with the
skipper who likes to be distracted by the AIS; but we all keep him under control
most of the time.
Day two started off badly with damage to the
lifeline stantions where the headsail sheet lead put too much pressure on the
lifeline when the pole was angled well forward. The seas then took revenge
on us with only two crew standing; Chris and Roger then had lots of food to
eat. There is always a silver lining!
