Hi Folks,

Well it was certainly a south coast blow but from the real south pole, we were extremely glad to be tucked up in the marina and not swinging about on the hook, it was a good old 45 knt job and that was in here, one of the last boats we know arrived, Summer Wine , they should have gone to Auckland with there cat as that's the place to go to but because of the worsening conditions and a broken Alternator drive belt they diverted here, the customs were really considerate and have organised the cats transfer to Auckland for his one month quarantine , that's with the UK cat passport and jabs that she has had to have , it seems that they still operate the old system here regarding the import of our furry friends .
We are off to Auckland today to look for a car/van, not much up here to look at even in the larger towns so the blog may not be done till we get back in a few days, Rob and Ruth are of to explore the Northlands during this time, subject to a successful grey tank emptying other wise its a day in the bilges which are sparkling after a good spring clean.
