Hi Folks,
Still in Bora Bora swinging at anchor , weather
still overcast with rain and squalls , still a lot of yachts waiting to depart
for the west, some have already gone and are having a rough ride of
it.
Still no news on the yacht Orbit which was
last heard of on passage from the Galapagos to the Marquises , MSCC at Papeate
are sending out a daily message but nothing heard since the 17th of August,
doesn't sound good for the guy who is a single hander in a 39ft yacht
.
All is well here, ribs sore but all other
vital signs are intact, last sign to come through was the No2 department, no
blood signs so that means all ok in the nether regions ..
Yesterday Ike and Becky popped over with a
very plesant surprise, a card which officially inaugurates me as head
Tiki tickler of French Polynesia ... and a burgee with a Z and a pr of
underpants embroidered onto it , it seems that hanging my undies out to dry by
the ensign has caused quite a stir in yachting circles and so as I'm not a
member of any such organisation I thought I would form my own, its not hard to
join just hang your undies on the back rail to dry and your in !
