Hi Folks,
Thanks to one of our football correspondents for
the Euro results it has made two fans happy ..
This anchorage has big swells running through , we
have to stay here for a few days till the customs open and we can get stamped
out to our new destination .
Out and about on the island we visited the
supermarket, a case of beer for 24 cans for 41 pounds and that's just the beer
....
Very nice Island though , speaking to a French
friend from Dolci Vita , the way to get free fruit is to knock on the door and
ask , we will try this out tomorrow , I must brush up on my French for tomorrows
scrumping escapade ..
Apart from that I went to a local boat who is the
fleets computer expert , he will visit tomorrow and hope we can get to the
bottom of the problem of down loading our ugrib weather files .
Visited the local open air museum and the Notre
Dame Cathedral which turned out to be a couple of Norman type spires about 60ft
high with an open air church in the background .
Tomorrow I am off to the bakers which open at 5 o/c
in the morning ! pana chocola and fresh bread ! the first for a week its Sunday
trading but not as we know it ....
BFN from a crew supping the most expensive beer of
there lives !
