Arrival ..

Well folks sorry for the no blogg yesterday it was a long hard slog the last 90 nm to Hiva Oa , the wind died and we reverted to the iron headsail , we arrived off the headland at 14:00 and had to travel the length of the island to the bay of Atuona at the base mount Temetiu (1276 m) which towers over the bay we dropped anchor in , quite a small bay with a small breakwater across it, the smaller boats are anchored fwd and aft behind it , we stayed on the outside as it was rather tight inside , Ike from Rhythm came out and helped us stream the aft anchor , we then all collapsed in the cockpit and pulled out the iced beer and sank a few ..... the sleep came shortly afterwards , looking around us we cant wait to explore tomorrow ..

Stopped rolling at last ! ! ! !

Sleepy crew ..
