More Bounce per mile than Zebadee ..

Yes folks it still bouncing along here with still more to come , my coconuts are all jumbled up in the veg locker I cant find them amongst the spuds onions and red cabbage ..

Almost 1800 nm covered so far and with 1200 to go we are looking forward to the nice flat calm bays ahead of us .. Ike in Rhythm got in yesterday to Hivo Oa , he called lastnight on the ssb and gave us the low-down on the place, layed back customs and immigration was the first thing he had to report , that's great no more masses of trees to chop down to enter a county , good old France , we just have to poodle up to the Gendarmerie and show our faces with passports , then just report to the local cops at each island , we don't actually clear in to French Polynesia until we get to Tahiti .

The garden on the bathing platform grows even as we speak , we seem to have lost our pet crab ! probably washed away in the following seas that slap our bum frequently every 10 seconds or so .

On the sailing front we tried to rig the twin head sails yesterday in 12 to 14 knts of wind , ended up damaging the Yankee , our bolt ropes on the sail kept sliding out and we had them both halfway up the foil when one of them pulled out it went nearly to the top then decided to catch and tore the last 2ft off of the sail , Lyn will be on the sewing machine in Marquises repairing it , so we are on our Yankee only as the wind speed is above our Gennicker range of operations , we are still managing six knots though ..

The chefs are still maintaining good fair inspite of the galley gyrations so we are all still in good spirits , an interesting point has been made by two contributors about the "Snicker" was it used to catch the larger fish , it was noted that after a few years of only eating fish the larger fish may want a change , what better bait to use than a snicker ! that puts Lyn in the frame as well !

Anyway its good day to you all from the Bounce Castle .. hope it doesn't go pop !
